Welcome to what I hope is a rose treasury of beauty, information, inspiration, and story telling. In the media section you’ll find my newspaper columns and a good many articles. There are lots of rose sources on the links page, and for the rest of the site––click, discover, and have fun! I'm excited to announce that my 2009 Rose calendar is now available on Amazon. There are gorgeous roses for each month with a special section on rose arranging tips. Bookmark my photoblog for what Joanie Helgeson calls her "daily calorie-free treat." My goal is to put up a new rose or garden photo each day, I don't always make it, but it's fun trying. I’ve wanted to send out an appealing "visual" newsletter for about two years now. Finally, Tony Davis, my faithful web implementer, helped me come up with this new design. I've named it Rose Notes. We hope you like it! If you'd like to receive Rose Notes by email, sign up here.
